How to setup an email address on 34SP for Gmail (Google Mail)
These instructions apply if your website is hosted with 34SP.

Quick Glance
- Open Gmail on desktop
- Choose ‘Settings’ – click the cog in the top right / See all settings.
- Choose ‘Accounts and Import’

Add your 34SP email for receiving mail (POP3 via “Check mail from other accounts”)
- Gmail uses POP for fetching (IMAP fetch is not available in Gmail web)
- Incoming & Outgoing Mail Settings:

- Incoming Mail (POP3)
- ‘Server’ = ‘mail.34sp.com’
- ‘Port’ = ‘995’
- Tick ‘Always use a secure connection (SSL)’
- ‘Username’ = your full 34SP email address
- ‘Password’ = your mailbox password
- Optional: tick ‘Leave a copy of retrieved message on the server’ if you also check mail elsewhere
- Outgoing Mail (SMTP)
- ‘Server’ = ‘smtp.34sp.com’
- ‘Port’ = ‘465’
- ‘Secure connection’ = ‘SSL’
- ‘Username’ = your full 34SP email address
- ‘Password’ = your mailbox password
- Gmail will send a confirmation code to verify ‘Send mail as’
- Incoming Mail (POP3)

- Enter your password when prompted for POP and SMTP
- Complete the verification sent to your 34SP mailbox
- Gmail setup is complete – compose a new email and pick your 34SP address in the ‘From’ menu to test
Introduction
If you prefer to manage your 34SP email account through Gmail, you can set this up directly inside Gmail on desktop. Gmail allows you to both receive emails from your 34SP mailbox and send emails using your 34SP address. This means you can use your Gmail inbox as a central hub without needing to log in separately to webmail or Outlook.

How to Add Your 34SP Email to Gmail
STEP 1
Login to Gmail on a desktop computer
Open mail.google.com and sign into your Gmail account on a desktop computer.
STEP 2
Open Gmail Settings
Click the cog icon in the top right of Gmail. Then click See all settings.
STEP 3
Accounts and Import
In the settings menu, choose the tab called Accounts and Import
STEP 4
Add your 34SP account for receiving emails
– Find the section called Check mail from other accounts.
– Click Add a mail account.
– Enter your full 34SP email address (for example: name@yourdomain.co.uk).
– Choose Import emails from my other account (POP3) and continue.
STEP 5
Enter the incoming mail settings (POP3)
– Username: your full 34SP email address
– Password: your mailbox password
– POP server: mail.34sp.com
– Port: 995
– Tick Always use a secure connection (SSL)
– Optional: Tick Leave a copy of retrieved messages on the server if you also want to access emails via another app.
STEP 6
Add your 34SP account for sending emails
– Still in Accounts and Import, look for the section called Send mail as.
– Click Add another email address.
– Enter your name (as you’d like it to appear in outgoing mail) and your full 34SP email address.
– Select Send through example.com SMTP servers.
STEP 7
Enter the outgoing mail settings (SMTP)
– SMTP server: smtp.34sp.com
– Port: 465
– Secure connection: SSL
– Username: your full 34SP email address
– Password: your mailbox password
STEP 8
Verify your address
Gmail will send a confirmation code to your 34SP mailbox. Once it arrives in your Gmail inbox, copy the code into the verification box and click Verify.
STEP 9
Test your setup
Compose a new email in Gmail. In the From dropdown menu, select your 34SP address and send a test email. This confirms both sending and receiving are working correctly.
